Dennis J. O’Sullivan brings over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry to Forest Hills Financial Group. Dennis specializes in comprehensive financial planning for business owners, executives and professionals. Dennis decided to enter the industry when he realized at a young age the importance of insurance. When his father died, his proper planning provided his mother with the assets she needed to allow her and their eight children to stay in their home and to maintain their lifestyle.

Dennis completed his undergraduate studies at the State University of New York at Stony Brook and earned a degree in Social Sciences. He continued his graduate studies at Queens College, New York with courses in education before life’s circumstances introduced him to the financial services industry. Dennis achieved his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation from the American College in 1999, his Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation in 2001 and his certification in Long Term Care (CLTC) in 2005. Dennis takes pride in being a good listener, and after hearing his client’s goals and objectives, he helps them establish a road map to follow and help them win the game of life financially, while enjoying the process along the way. His mission is to have a positive impact on the lives of both his clients and his associates.

Dennis’s strong sense of professionalism and community keeps him actively involved in professional and civic memberships and activities. Dennis is an industry member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT). He is a trustee at the Long Island Museum in Stony Brook, NY, a member of the 3 Village Chamber of Commerce, and Dennis invests his time in philanthropic activities with various organizations in his community.

Dennis leads a healthy lifestyle and enjoys playing golf and exercising. He also earned his Private Pilot’s license from the Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida in 1982. Dennis resides in Stony Brook, NY with his wife Randi and their daughters Jackie and Danielle.
