Andie graduated from Boston University in 1999 with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Elementary Education. She taught both second and third grades in Boston while getting her degree and returned to New York to join the family business in 1999. Andie's Dad, Nathan M. Perlmutter, President and CEO of Forest Hills Financial Group, founded the agency in 1980 as a General Agent of The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America and FHFG is one of the leading agencies representing Guardian today. Andie’s positive approach and teaching skills partnered with her Dad’s industry expertise allow her to offer both associates and brokers the highest quality support and service they’ve come to expect at FHFG.

Andie is actively involved with the New York City Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NYCAIFA), The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), and Women in Financial Services (WIFS). Andie is a health enthusiast, and enjoys tennis and bowling. Her interests are diverse, and she also likes to knit and loves to cook.

Andie’s hometown is Merrick, Long Island, and she now resides in New York City.
