David M. Hyer is a Financial Representative working out of the Bohemia office of Forest Hills Financial Group (FHFG). David takes pride in his ability to build long-lasting relationships based on trust and integrity and his outgoing personality enables him to spark up a conversation with anyone. David has always loved helping people and has been doing it since his first job teaching sailing at the Bay Shore Yacht Club. During his teen years, after working five summers at the Bay Shore Yacht Club, he became the Head Sailing Instructor at the Babylon Yacht Club. David attended college at Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island and graduated with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Management in 2007. David began his professional career coaching college sailing full-time at the State University of New York Maritime College. His passion for helping people and his business savvy now brings him to the financial services industry and to FHFG. David’s unique abilities, partnered with the diverse knowledge of FHFG enable him to provide the highest quality products and services to his clients. David keeps actively involved as a member of the Babylon Yacht Club and the South Bay Cruising Club. In his spare time he competitively races different types of sailboats ranging from 15 to 45 feet, and in colder temperatures his interest shifts from sailing to snowboarding.

David was born, raised and still resides in West Islip, Long Island.
