Thomas V. Moldovan, LUTCF works out of the Melville office of Forest Hills Financial Group (FHFG), specializing in Risk Management and Retirement Planning. Tom loves helping people, and the financial services industry gives him the vehicle where he can have the most positive impact on his client’s lives as he helps them secure their financial futures. After losing his Dad, Tom experienced first-hand how vital proper personal and business planning can be for a family and their business, and it reinforced the power of the work he does on behalf of his clients each and every day.

Tom graduated from Hofstra University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree (BBA) and has achieved his Life Underwriting Training Council Fellowship (LUTCF) designation. Tom began his professional career in financial services, but put his career on hold when he was needed in his family’s transportation and warehousing business. When his dad died, he was thankful that his dad’s proper personal planning took care of his mom, but the lack of proper Business Succession Planning ultimately caused the family business to fold. As a result of his personal experience, Tom continued his career in financial services with a mission to help his clients put the proper plans in place to help them protect and reach their goals. By protecting first then implementing flexible, systematic savings plans, Tom’s clients are able to utilize a spend down philosophy. This unique philosophy creates short term as well as long-term solutions that give clients the financial balance they are seeking in these uncertain times. By building a solid foundation first, they are able to achieve financial security and peace of mind.

Tom’s strong sense of industry and community keep him actively involved as a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), the Islip Chamber of Commerce and a participant in the Masters Lacrosse Club. Tom is also President of the not-for-profit Seatuck Environmental Association, an organization committed to conserving Long Island wildlife and environment through education, research and advocacy. In his spare time Tom enjoys spending time with his daughters, Jane and Jennifer, volunteering on weekends and loves playing lacrosse.

A Long Island native, Tom now resides in West Babylon, NY.
