Andie Perlmutter is Chief Operating Officer and Managing Partner at Forest Hills Financial Group (FHFG), where she oversees operations, administration, employee relations, and advisor support for more than 100 financial professionals serving over 40,000 clients and policyholders throughout the New York metropolitan area. She leads teams across the firm's Melville and New York City offices, as well as its remote administrative staff, helping to drive operational excellence while fostering FHFG's collaborative, people-first culture.
A third-generation financial services professional, Andie also serves as the firm's Disability Income Specialist. She is passionate about educating individuals and families on the critical role disability income insurance plays as the foundation of financial security. Working closely with the firm's advisors, she provides specialized guidance and helps integrate disability planning into comprehensive financial strategies.
After earning a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Boston University in 1999, Andie taught second and third grade in Boston before returning home to join the family business. Founded in 1980 by her father, Nathan M. Perlmutter, FHFG has grown into one of Guardian's leading agencies. Today, Andie works alongside her brother, David Perlmutter, and fellow Managing Partner Amy Salo to continue building on the firm's legacy. Together, Andie and Amy are especially committed to mentoring and expanding opportunities for women in both financial advisory and leadership roles.
Originally from Merrick, Long Island, Andie lives in New York City with her husband, Danny, and their daughters, Joey and Ray. Outside of work, she’s often exploring NYC on foot, discovering new neighborhoods, great restaurants, and the city’s best dessert spots with her kids.
