Colette Alagia

Colette Alagia is a Wealth Management Advisor with Forest Hills Financial Group (FHFG) who strives to improve people’s lives by easing the stress surrounding financial decisions. Helpful, diligent, personable, and relationship-driven, she builds trust and rapport with nearly everyone she meets. Colette collaborates with individuals, families, and business owners to help them gain clarity and confidence, developing thoughtful strategies designed to grow, preserve, and protect wealth while aligning with what matters most to each client.

A graduate of Providence College in Rhode Island, Colette earned her bachelor’s degree in Finance while also expressing her creative side as a Division I dancer. From an early age, she was drawn to the financial services industry, inspired by her parents and siblings who built careers in the field. Seeing firsthand how financial professionals can positively impact families and communities reinforced her desire to pursue a career where she could make a meaningful difference. Her father, Frank Alagia, who currently serves as Deputy Commissioner of Nassau County Parks, Recreation and Museums, further fueled her passion for service. Colette began her professional journey with Northwestern Mutual, where she developed a solid foundation in financial planning and client service. Today at FHFG, supported by the firm’s extensive resources and collaborative environment, she continues to expand her reach and delivers meaningful impact throughout the community.

Colette’s keen sense of industry and community keep her actively involved. As a member of Ellevate, a global community empowering woman in business, she is enthusiastic about supporting women both personally and professionally. She is a member of the Nassau County Young Republicans and also takes pride in educating and supporting local heroes and first responders. Colette regularly volunteers her time in support of programs she cares about, including Career Day Inc., where high school students are introduced to potential career paths, the Alzheimer’s Association, Sunrise Day Camp for children with cancer and their siblings, Habitat for Humanity, and the Guide Dog Foundation.

Outside of work, Colette enjoys spending time at the beach, staying active, watching reality TV, and being with friends and family. Born in Mineola, she was raised in and currently resides in Rockville Centre, New York.
