Donna M. Rothar

As Marketing Director at Forest Hills Financial Group (FHFG), Donna Rothar brings twenty plus years of experience in marketing, management, insurance, and sales support to the firm. Donna helps develop and execute integrated marketing plans to enhance the firm’s brand awareness as well as their presence in the community and across social media. She takes great pride in her ability to collaborate and cultivate meaningful relationships, working closely with their team of advisors to help create unique marketing initiatives to help build their practices.

Donna graduated from New York Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. A natural leader, she always knew she wanted a career where she could help bring out the best in people by supporting their growth and development. She began her professional journey as a Marketing Manager with Yellow Book USA, where she exceeded company sales objectives through market development, advertising, and expansion initiatives. Drawn to the opportunity to influence and cultivate company culture and individual success, Donna transitioned into the financial services industry in 2019 as Manager of Marketing and Sales Support for Lighthouse Financial Network in Melville, NY. There, she honed her skills, expanding her knowledge in life insurance and new business underwriting to complement her accomplished marketing capabilities. Today, she brings her diverse experience and passion to FHFG, where she enjoys helping new and experienced financial representatives discover the possibilities of well-crafted strategies brought to life.

Donna is committed to supporting causes she cares about, including breast cancer awareness and animal cruelty. A lifelong fitness enthusiast, she discovered a love for cycling, particularly on her Peloton, after transitioning from running following knee surgery. She also enjoys cooking, baking and spending time with her friends and family. A Long Island native, Donna now resides in Dix Hills, NY with her husband John, their two children Liam and Caitlyn, and their Rhodesian Ridgeback Tosh.
