Emily Koenig, MBA

Emily Koenig joins Forest Hills Financial Group (FHFG) as a Managing Associate, assisting the leadership team with talent acquisition and onboarding of new advisors. Emily is committed to helping and motivating people to be the best possible version of themselves, and to achieve greatness however they define it. Her passion for the profession and to elevate others directly align with the core values and culture at FHFG. Emily’s people skills and experience position her to effectively market to excellence, bringing people and resources together as they take the next steps in their career journey. 

Emily graduated from the State University of New York at Oswego in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, earning her MBA in 2023. The education and experience Emily received during her college years honed her skills, and her introduction to finance as an intern in 2021 steered her towards a career path in the industry. As a senior, Emily began her professional career with Northwestern Mutual as a Recruitment Coordinator, followed by her role as Campus Recruiter. Emily educated students about the internship program and the financial advisory career, and really enjoyed contributing to student professional development. She also collaborated with the talent acquisition team in selecting and developing top talent for the firm. Emily now brings her drive and grit to the team at FHFG, eager to learn from her peers and to make a positive impact in people’s lives. Emily genuinely cares about the people she connects with and strives to build lasting professional relationships that lay the groundwork for long and prosperous sales careers. 

Emily’s keen sense of industry keeps her actively involved as a member of the International Society of Female Professionals. In her spare time, Emily enjoys a variety of interests, including reading, going to the beach, bowling, spin classes, and playing golf with her boyfriend Jack. Emily was born, raised and still resides in Seaford, NY.
