Emily Koenig, MBA

Emily Koenig is a Managing Associate at Forest Hills Financial Group (FHFG), where she supports the firm’s recruiting and development efforts for financial representatives across the New York City and Long Island markets. At FHFG, Emily has designed and implemented enterprise-wide onboarding and training processes that help position new team members for early success. She specializes in early-career conversations with individuals exploring opportunities in financial services and is recognized for her relationship-focused approach, strong networking skills, and ability to connect authentically with candidates and clients.

Before joining FHFG in August 2024, Emily held several recruiting and advisory roles with Northwestern Mutual, where she gained experience in candidate development, interview processes, and training coordination. She earned both her MBA and bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the State University of New York at Oswego. Emily remains actively involved in Oswego’s leadership and mentorship initiatives, with a particular interest in programs that support and empower women and young professionals as they pursue personal and professional growth.

Outside of work, Emily enjoys spending time at the beach, bowling, Pilates, skiing, and playing golf with her boyfriend, Jack. Born and raised in Seaford, NY, Emily currently resides in Bohemia, Long Island.
