Ilana Piper is an experienced recruiter with over seven years of success in recruitment. With a strong background in banking, sales, and customer service, Ilana brings a unique perspective to talent acquisition, enabling her to successfully match top talent with company needs. Ilana has a proven record in full-cycle recruitment, sourcing high-quality candidates through diverse channels, and collaborating with hiring managers to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Ilana takes pride in her ability to build strong relationships with candidates and colleagues, committed to fostering FHFG’s inclusive workplace culture.

Ilana graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), New York with a bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising Management in 2009. While attending FIT, Ilana worked part-time as a Women’s Designer sales professional, gaining experience in sales, creating outstanding customer experiences and leadership, providing one-on-one mentoring to new sales professionals. She began her professional career as a customer service representative with Citibank, where she thrived at building relationships with clients, driving sales and revenue, while collaborating with her team to best serve their clientele. In 2013 Ilana joined HSBC as a personal banker, continuing to hon her skills while contributing to team development by sharing best practices and creating a productive and supportive work environment. Although she enjoyed success, Ilana wanted more entrepreneurial freedom and greater client impact and decided to explore financial services with Northwestern Mutual in 2022. When offered the opportunity to recruit, Ilana realized she excelled at helping them grow their team by sourcing and securing exceptional talent. Ilana now joins the team at FHFG, where she felt an immediate connection with the culture of the firm and likes nothing more than playing a pivotal role in helping candidates discover the rewarding career possibilities at FHFG.

Ilana enjoys playing volleyball and traveling, and currently resides in New York City.
