John is attending Pace University to achieve a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Accounting. Committed to excellence in everything he attempts, he is also pursuing his CPA designation to further his skills and knowledge. John began his professional career in the hospitality industry, where for sixteen years he worked for several top-quality restaurants and loved creating memorable dining experiences for his clientele. John’s career revolved around service and he easily forged relationships, even with strangers, based on mutual trust and respect. When the pandemic took its toll on the hospitality industry, being savvy in business and finance, John realized financial services gave him an opportunity to take his passion for helping people and really make a difference in their lives. He gained industry experience with New York Life before joining FHFG, where the firm’s diverse resources and commitment to service excellence position him to best serve his clients.
John’s strong sense of industry and community keep him actively involved. He is a member of the Queens Chamber of Commerce and their Food, Beverage and Hospitality Committee. John has been inducted into the National Society of Leadership and Success, and is Sommelier Certified with the Court of Master Sommeliers. As a Catechist, John teaches the principles of Christian religion at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in Astoria, NY.
In his spare time, John is continuing his wine studies, practices yoga and enjoys incredible dining experiences every chance he gets. He also loves to cook, golf recreationally and spending time with his family. John was born in Island Park, NY and now resides in Astoria.
