Joseph DeStefano

Joseph DeStefano (Joe) is a Financial Representative with Forest Hills Financial Group (FHFG) whose mission is to help clients make confident financial decisions through thoughtful guidance and transparent planning. Joe prides himself on being an educator, committed to helping individuals, families, and business owners understand how their money works and how they can improve their financial well-being. He strives to listen carefully to learn each client’s unique story, building enduring relationships rooted in trust and integrity.

Joe earned his Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Adelphi University, where he competed as a Division II Cross Country and Track & Field athlete and was an active member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He later completed his Master’s in Business Analytics at Florida Atlantic University, a program that strengthened his ability to analyze data, identify trends, and uncover insights that support smarter, evidence-based financial strategies. Before joining FHFG, Joe worked as a Senior Licensed Home Insurance Professional at Foundation Insurance of Florida/The Baldwin Group, helping clients protect what matters most through personalized coverage solutions. Always seeking new challenges and opportunities to serve, Joe now brings his business acumen, analytical mindset, and passion for helping others to FHFG—a dynamic and collaborative team dedicated to creating meaningful impact for clients and their communities.

Outside of work, Joe enjoys running and strength training. He is also an animal lover and an avid keeper and breeder of exotic reptiles. Joe currently resides in Seaford, NY.
