While earning his BA degree with a concentration in Business from Fairleigh Dickinson University, New Jersey, Joseph traveled abroad, studied at different Yeshivas and tutored students. He worked at Camp Morasha in Pennsylvania for several years as a counselor, division leader and ultimately Assistant Athletic director, planning events for over 800 children. Joseph was attending the New York University School of Law to pursue a Doctor of Law degree when the pandemic hit. Joseph did some soul searching and seeing the difference proper financial strategizing had made for all those around him during such an unpredictable time he decided to change his career path. Throughout Joseph’s life, his father, Rabbi Neuburger, a teacher, author and spiritual leader in his New Jersey community helped fuel Joseph’s passion for learning and his compassion for humanity. Playing to his strengths as a people person and his perceptive insight into the needs of others, he joined Alive & Wealth, LLC to explore a career in the financial services industry. Building his practice focusing on how to best serve his clients, Joseph also works with FHFG where their diverse resources allow him to match his client’s needs with innovative, viable financial strategies that will help protect themselves and their families.
Joseph’s strong sense of community keeps him actively involved in philanthropic activities. Trained in crisis counseling, Joseph has volunteered for Crisis Textline, NCSY, and Chai Lifeline, whose mission is to deliver joy and hope to children and families impacted by illness and crisis. He also spends time with teens and helps those faced with difficult life challenges. Joseph’s interests include clothing and fashion, romantic comedies, comedy clubs and working on his surfing skills. The youngest of 6, Joseph’s greatest passion is spending time with his family.
Joseph was born in the Bronx and raised in Teaneck, NJ where he currently resides.
