Kyara Velasquez

Kyara Velasquez is a Financial Representative with Forest Hills Financial Group (FHFG) who brings strong organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills to her work with individuals, families, and business owners. Driven by a genuine passion for helping people plan for financial success, Kyara combines a strong work ethic with deep care for those she serves. Her bilingual ability to work with both English- and Spanish-speaking communities allows her to educate and collaborate with clients in a meaningful, inclusive way. Kyara strives to ensure every client understands all options available to them, empowering them to make confident, informed decisions about their financial future. 

Kyara graduated from Brooklyn College in New York with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government. She began her professional career spending five years as an office manager at a small manufacturing company in Queens, NY, where she developed a solid foundation in administration and operations. As a client of a financial advisor herself, Kyara came to recognize the importance of financial knowledge in building confidence and control over financial decisions. During this time, she discovered her enjoyment of working with numbers, understanding cash flow, and identifying practical solutions to improve financial well-being. This realization led Kyara to the financial services industry, where she spent over a year at Northwestern Mutual gaining firsthand experience as a financial representative. Now at FHFG, Kyara is proud to continue her career alongside a team that shares her values of integrity, service, and personal connection. 

Outside of work, Kyara enjoys making things by hand, whether it be crafts, art or putting something together. Kyara was born, raised and currently resides in Queens, NY.
