Lesley began her professional career as a paralegal, working in that capacity for several years. Her first insurance job was in the compliance department at Prudential Financial Inc., over 20 years ago, where someone she knew thought her legal background would be a good fit. Lesley quickly discovered she liked the marketing and sales side and chose a career path in financial services. She has an extensive background working for several successful insurance and brokerage firms with various roles including Director of LTC sales and Product/Relationship Manager for non-proprietary products within a large career distribution system. Lesley was also a financial professional with AXA Advisors and Mass Mutual before returning to management and focusing on relationship building and carrier due diligence. Lesley now embraces her role as Brokerage Manager at FHFG, showing independent agents the significant value of leveraging Guardian Life and Berkshire Disability products within their clients’ insurance portfolios.
Lesley’s strong sense of professionalism keeps her actively involved in the association Females and Finance. A wellness enthusiast, she is a graduate of the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and a certified Health Coach. In her spare time, Lesley has many interests including Broadway and off-Broadway shows, movies, museums, music and has done stand-up comedy. She also practices meditation and enjoys writing and photography, particularly photographing her nieces and nephews at their sporting events.
A Jersey girl, Lesley was born in Newark, raised in Maplewood and now resides in Summit, NJ.
