
Michael P. O’Sullivan is a Financial Advisor working out of the Melville office of Forest Hills Financial Group (FHFG). Michael is an experienced professional with a successful insurance and investment practice that has grown through the business marketplace and the Group Multi-life Disability Insurance market. His mission is to educate his clients, Business Owner and Professional, as to our uncommon financial thinking and to evaluate and design programs that fit the needs of his clients. Michael takes pride in his ability to listen and offer his client’s sound recommendations, and his goal is to become a vital part of their financial lives and have fun doing it.
Michael graduated from Dowling College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aeronautics with Applied Mathematics. He began his professional career in the financial services industry as a Manager of a large local savings bank, and loved helping the people he served. In 1999 he took his passion for helping people to MassMutual, where he joined his brother Dennis O’Sullivan. In his thirteen years at MassMutual, Michael was a six-time leaders conference qualifier, earned MassMutual’s “Freshman Five” award in 2001 and was New Partner of the Year for four years. He also trained new agents on his approach, fact finder and presentation techniques. Michael’s contributions have been of key importance to the growth, development, and success of the companies he has been associated with professionally, and he now brings his diverse knowledge and experience to FHFG.
Michael’s strong sense of industry and community keeps him involved as a member of LeTip, a Long Island business-networking group, and as an Advisory Board Member of the Academy of Finance at Northport High School. Michael enjoys reading, family vacations, and loves playing golf and skiing with his kids. Michael was born and raised in Commack, NY and now resides in West Babylon with his wife Lorraine and sons Travis and Liam.
