Samira Bawa

Samira Bawa is a Financial Representative with Forest Hills Financial Group (FHFG), whose mission is to provide individuals, families, and communities with the tools, guidance, and confidence they need to make informed financial decisions. A strategic thinker with a community-focused mindset, Samira creates personalized strategies that align with her clients’ goals, offering ongoing education and support to help them build and protect their wealth while creating lasting legacies.

Samira graduated from Metropolitan Lighthouse Charter School, where she was a student-athlete competing in track. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance from Pace University’s Lubin School of Business. While at Pace, she ran cross country, continuing to develop the discipline and resilience built through athletics. Samira also served as President of the Students of Caribbean Awareness organization for two years, leading cultural initiatives, organizing events, and strengthening community engagement. These experiences honed her leadership, teamwork, and time management skills—qualities that serve her well in her professional career.

Samira was drawn to financial services through her passion for helping others achieve stability and independence, having experienced firsthand the challenges of managing personal finances as a student and young professional. She gained hands-on industry experience through internships with Northwestern Mutual and FHFG. After completing her internship with FHFG and experiencing the educational, supportive and collaborative culture, she knew she found her professional home.

Outside of work, Samira enjoys traveling, running, ballet, and spending quality time with her family. She is also passionate about volunteering and staying connected to her community. Born in Antigua and Barbuda, Samira now resides in the Bronx, New York.
