Steven D. Lichtenstein, CLU®, ChFC® has provided advice and guidance to a myriad of clients, including high net worth individuals, trade organizations and small-to-medium sized business owners since joining the financial services industry and Forest Hills Financial Group(FHFG) in 1991. Steven is a frequent lecturer and an industry leader on topics of interest such as retirement and longevity planning, long-term care insurance, and estate planning for baby boomers.
Steven is a twenty-time qualifier of the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table, four-time qualifier of Court of The Table, and nineteen-time Guardian Leader’s club qualifier. He is past president of the Queens Chapter of The New York City Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and Immediate Past President of The Health and Business Alliance, a local not-for-profit organization. In 2004 Steven was the recipient of the Queensboro Council for Social Welfare’s Outstanding Service Award and was named as an ‘Everyday Hero’ by Newsday, for his contributions to the community in 2005. In 2017, Steven was honored as one of the “Kings of Long Island” by Star Network/Schneps Communications. Steven is also a member of the State University of New York at Old Westbury’s School of Business Advisory Board.
Steven leads a financial services team that provides a multitude of services that include wealth management, life, health, disability income, medical and long-term care insurance. In addition, his group includes specialists in tax planning, cost segregation, buy-sell agreements, pension & profit planning, divorce financial planning and business succession.
Steven is an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys a wide variety of sports including golf, biking, tennis and running. He has six children and resides with his wife Ava in Bellmore, NY.
