Steven Maryles, MD

Dr. Steven Maryles is a Financial Representative with Forest Hills Financial Group (FHFG), where he brings a holistic, relationship‑driven approach to financial services. By combining personal insight with thoughtful, strategic planning, Steven’s mission is simple: to provide education, clarity, and support at every stage of a client’s financial journey. For nearly thirty years, Steven helped individuals rebuild strength and mobility in his prior career as a Physical Therapist. Today, he brings that same commitment and compassion to FHFG, empowering clients to strengthen their financial knowledge and move forward with confidence. 

Steven attended Brooklyn College, where he earned his undergraduate degree in Physical Education with a specialization in athletic training. He continued his education at Touro College, earning postgraduate degrees in Physical Therapy and later completing his transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT). Throughout his healthcare career, Steven worked closely with individuals facing complex medical and personal challenges—many of whom also experienced financial strain. He also observed that many healthcare professionals lacked the financial guidance needed to navigate their own financial lives. His transition into financial services was a natural progression. At FHFG, the same qualities that made him effective in healthcare—empathy, attentive listening, precision, and a genuine desire to help—now form the foundation of how he guides individuals, families, and professionals toward greater financial wellness. 

Outside of work, Steven enjoys sports of all kinds and is an avid fan of the Yankees, Jets, Knicks, and Rangers. He and his wife of 31 years reside in Staten Island, New York, and they are the proud parents of four children and grandparents to three.
