Vincent J. Cagnina

Vincent Cagnina (Vinny) is a Registered Representative with Forest Hills Financial Group (FHFG) specializing in asset allocation, protection and risk management. With over ten years of experience in the financial services industry, as a second generation Italian American Vinny knows how impactful it is to strive for a better life for your family. Vinny’s upbringing instilled in him an exceptional work ethic and deep care for others that people can sense and appreciate. Whether it’s serving a client or supporting a team member, Vinny’s greatest joy is investing his time and knowledge into the success of others. 

Vinny began his professional career in sales with P.C. Richard & Son, where for five years he honed his management and leadership skills and was promoted to Assistant Store Manager running builder contract sales. Vinny really enjoyed providing customers with personalized service and guidance, but realized they had financial questions and concerns that were beyond the scope of the service he was providing. Vinny wanted to do more and was drawn to the financial services industry, joining Northwestern Mutual as a Financial Representative in 2014. Over five years Vinny became a Director and Financial Advisor, gaining the industry knowledge and experience needed to best serve his clients before venturing into private wealth management. Trusting his instincts and believing a dedicated team behind him would help him provide the most meaningful impact on people’s lives, Vinny now brings his business acumen and experience to FHFG. 

Vinny’s keen sense of community keeps him actively involved with Timothy Hill Children’s Ranch, assisting with daily duties and engaging with residents to instill a better future. He also volunteers time to other philanthropic endeavors. In his spare time Vinny is an avid fly fisher and has authored featured fishing articles. He also enjoys weekends in the Catskill Mountains and takes pride in being an exceptional chef, especially his Buffalo Chicken Pizza.

Vinny was born in Bayshore, NY and now resides in Yaphank with his wife Julianne.
