Vlad graduated from the City University of New York, Hunter College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 2000. During his college years he also studied abroad for one semester in Israel at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Vlad began his professional career working in IT learning first-hand about business operations and what’s needed to run a business efficiently. In 2009, a recruiter introduced him to the financial services industry. Vlad realized he could help business owners with cost effective financial planning strategies, and he seized the opportunity. With New York Life and Mass Mutual he gained industry knowledge and expanded his experience to encompass risk mitigation, retirement planning and estate planning. Vlad’s communication and listening skills enable him to build long lasting relationships based on trust and integrity. Vlad now brings his business acumen and industry experience to FHFG, where he likes nothing more than bringing people and resources together to help improve their lives.
Vlad’s strong sense of industry and community keeps him actively involved as a member of the Queens Chamber of Commerce and as a board member of Hillel at Baruch College. Vlad has also volunteered for The Brandeis Association, a not for profit organization that encourages friendship and culture among their members and fosters respect for law and legal institutions. In his spare time Vlad enjoys spending time outdoors and taking in all the sights and sounds it has to offer. Vlad was born in Odessa, Ukraine and has been living in the United States since 1992, currently residing in Brooklyn, NY.
